Workplace

I work at Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), a prestigious education and research center on wireless communication that is affiliated with University of Oulu, Finland. Within CWC, I am a member of the intelligent connectivity and networks/systems (ICON) group, which is led by an esteem researcher, Prof. Mehdi Bennis, and a bunch of talented researchers.

Research

The 6G systems will be driven by societal and business needs that are extending beyond the needs of high data rates, massive connectivity, ultra-reliability, and low latency defined under the 5G systems. Towards this goal, the confluence of communication and machine learning (ML) has become a promising enabler for 5G and beyond systems, especially, with the shift of the intelligence towards the network edge. Hence, my research work is focused on the harmony of two research directions, ML for communication and communication for ML.
