Codesign of Edge Intelligence and Automated Guided Vehicle Control - Precom2023
This is a demonstration of a semi-autonomous transportation task aided by edge intelligence. Here, an automated guided vehicle equipped with a robotic arm moves an object from a source to a destination specified by a human operator. The edge intelligence is used to identify the destination and to determine the exact drop point while a line following algorithm is deployed on the vehicle to navigate from source to destination.
